Cairns - Trinity Beach

As we accepted  Don & Jenny's offer of the Unit...
Just across the Beach at Trinity Beach...JUST BEAUTIFUL we decide to stay for a few days.

Boardwalk across from units

Our Unit top floor behind palm tree

Beach Across from Units... Bit windy and muddy But Beautiful!!!!

Come Monday night Basil is sitting on the loo every half hour.  This Bug continued for the next 5 days, 2 doctors visits and 2 lots blood tests later...  By this time I WAS ANXIOUS...  The doctor thought he was probably getting the virus at The Lynd when he started to shake and due to Diabetes everything was magnified ???  Not sure but have no other explanation for the whole ordeal...soooo?????  While I'm here I decide to have my skin checked as we cant go anywhere -  B cant keep anything in him or down him.  Next thing I know is I've had a small mole cut out...  Can't let B have all the attention...  but not expecting any major dramas here.
As B improved we did have a few excursion  on Scenic Rail & Sky Rail..............And I didn't "crack up" due to the height of the Gondola....  do not like heights but I was good this day..  !!! .  Drove around Palm Cove and all the Northern Beaches of Cairns.  The weather is warm , very windy and the beaches are very muddy...( Give me the south coast beaches any time... But not the South Coast Water Temperature????)  There is so much to do and see around the area but we will need to keep that for another visit when not so windy and have more time.

We are in love with little finger bananas and dried mango!!!!!!  (Now that we ALL are eating again..)

We will do the Daintree area before leaving Cairns...

ALL HEALTH  AND VEHICLES ARE OK NOW But it hasn't been a Great beginning to our trip...  I did wonder a few times .."Should we be here???"

  1. If you really must be not well, at least it's nice to be not well in a beautiful place. Now that you've paid your dues with both health and vehicle malfunctions, may the rest of your travels be filled with happy adventures!
